Meet at a secret location on Friday night 29th June, from 7pm to whenever you can get there after work.  We’ll camp the night there and put any bulky or heavy camping gear away in cars in the morning before we head off riding, taking just bivvy kit with us for the Sat night.

I have a bivvy spot in mind for Saturday night that’s just over half way round. In some woods, hidden from sight. There’s a pub beforehand where we can eat and refresh until it gets dark.

Finish Sunday evening, back at the start.

Exact route TBA. Will depend on what the weather leading up the day has done for surface conditions, HS2 construction blockades, likely availability of beer and pies etc.

Camping at the start costs £12pp. £5 each is requested in lieu of an entry fee, which we’ll donate to World Bicycle Relief in the club name.

Guests would need to be prospective members for our BC insurance. No obligation to join but that only works for their first couple of Cranks rides. After that they’d need to sign up.
